Gene McIntyre is a passionate business woman, mother, wife, pastor, public speaker, author, human capital and business operations professional. She is the founder and CEO of Enhance4Life and serves as a Human Capital and Organizational & Talent Development expert; a certified business and personal coach and a senior operations leader. She also administers assessments and serves as a life and executive coach. A professional team builder, Gene also uses her experience to serve as an expert conflict resolution, change management and mediation professional. She is also a Justice, Equity, Diversity & Inclusion leader and instructor.
Gene holds two bachelors’ in business and liberal arts, respectively; a Juris Doctorate with emphasis in Law & Political Sciences; master studies in senior leadership and a variety of certifications. She consults with individuals and businesses alike in human capital and business operations, teaching them how to unlock the power to master their lives, improve relationships, run successful businesses and achieve their full individual and group potential.
Molded herself by childhood trauma and abuse, Gene uses her personal story and gained understanding to support and lead non-profit organizations that promote the increased understanding of mental health, emotional intelligence, coping and life skills. Her work, personally and through other dedicated leaders, has touched the lives of at-risk and marginalized youth, adults and families throughout Latin America and the United States. Gene is particularly passionate about and serves as senior leader of The Altar Fellowship, a conglomerate of congregations, founded by her and her husband in May of 2008. She has devoted countless hours to serving her community and developing leaders to serve their respective communities through this international ministry of compassion.
Originally from Panama, Central America, Gene has been married to John McIntyre for over two decades and has two teenage children who have been actively involved in her ministerial and non-profit pursuits. Gene's husband, pastor John McIntyre, died unexpectedly from Covid on September 2nd, 2021. As she pursues healing and restoration for herself and her family, more than ever, she hopes to continue working with individuals and families in a variety of personal and professional settings in the hopes of sharing her insights on how life, personal & business relationships and entrepreneurial results can be enhanced when someone can overcome personal trauma, self-limiting beliefs and difficult experiences.
Gene has also served as a board director, facilitated support groups and taught a variety of classes and certification for the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) for the Manatee and Sarasota counties in Florida. Through NAMI, her congregations and related venues, she is committed to work to end the stigma associated with mental illness and to advocate, support, and educate our community on mental illness challenges, management and support systems.
